Option 1: Full Orchestra & Piano - Ages 8-18
The Youth Orchestra Camp at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach is offering our annual summer camp the weeks of July 9 and July 16. Unlike most music camps, we provide a fun day of varied activities, offer late pick up and car pool assistance, teach ALL instruments AND accept beginning students on most instruments.
Our very popular "learn to play" program is for beginners and is perfect for students who want to get started over the summer, students who want to start a second instrument or for students who want to try a different instrument without the pressure or commitment of the regular school year. We have a partnership with Music Man Inc. that provides FREE use of selected instrument for the 1 or 2 week camp - a fantastic value!
The camp has been specifically designed to offer variety within the day. This includes trips to museums, off site field trips, organized sports activities, arts and crafts, guest artists, performances, private lessons and of course lots of music. We also have "elective classes" that include music technology, All State Boot Camp, music theory the "fun" way, conducting and much more! We believe we have a program for every student at every level - beginning, intermediate and advanced.
Option 2: Mini Mozart - Strings only Ages 5-8
This string camp is specifically designed for younger students with limited or no experience. We boast a high student teacher ratio with certified music instructors and a short recital on the final day of camp. On-site "FUN" activities, such as playground time and much more! Instrument rental is included! Please buy or bring lunch and snacks daily. Spaces are limited, so don’t delay your registration for this specialty camp at Palm Beach Gardens or Boca Raton. Free instrument rental included.
